Padel

Four walls, two pairs, and a ball that stays in play far longer than you expect. Four courts on the roof: three covered, one open to the sky.

The courts

Three covered.
One open.

Covered courts mean a downpour does not end your evening. The open court is the one people book first when the weather is right, and the one that ends up on everyone’s camera roll.

01

Covered courts ×3

Roofed and floodlit. Playable through rain and the middle of the day, when the KL sun is not negotiable.

02

Open-air court ×1

Nothing between you and the skyline. Best from about six o’clock onwards.

03

Floodlit to close

Last slot at 10pm, doors close at eleven. The courts look better at night than they do in daylight.

What is padel

Tennis, squash,
and the walls.

Doubles on a court about a third the size of a tennis court, enclosed in glass. The ball can come off the walls and stay live, which is why rallies last and why beginners are competitive in an hour rather than a season.

  • 01Always doubles: four players, underarm serve.
  • 02Scoring is the same as tennis. That part you already know.
  • 03The walls are in play. Nobody tells you this and it changes everything.
  • 04A session is 60 or 90 minutes.Confirm

Is padel hard to learn?

It is one of the easiest racket sports to start and one of the harder ones to master. Most people have a genuine rally in their first ten minutes.

How long is a booking?

60 or 90 minutes.Confirm Ninety is the more common choice once people have played a few times.
